ItziApps developed the Linux Ringtones app as a free application. This SERVICE is provided by ItziApps at no cost and is intended for use as is.

🔊 Audio and Storage
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (up to Android 12): to read audio files on the device for use as ringtones.
- READ_MEDIA_AUDIO (Android 13+): specific access to audio files on newer devices.
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (up to Android 9): to save audio files generated or selected by the user.
- WRITE_SETTINGS: required to set a tone as a ringtone, alarm, or notification directly from the app.
👥 Contacts
- READ_CONTACTS / WRITE_CONTACTS: optional, only if the user wants to assign a ringtone to a specific contact. The app does not store or share this information.
🔔 Notifications
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+): to display notifications about downloads, ringtone assignments, or relevant information.
▶ Background Services
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: allow the app to play sounds or keep a service running, even in the background.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This app does not use cookies directly, but it may use third-party code or libraries that do use cookies to improve their services.
